This is a documentation subpage for Template:Example (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage

This template explains to wiki users what templates look like, or when an example template is needed on a page. Users can examine the wiki markup, and create a template of their own. However, do not create a template for one's self use only.
