A dead link in a Wiki article is a link that leads to a nonexistent article. In other words, it leads to nowhere. Dead links are depicted with the color red on the Wiki to make notice that they lead to nowhere. If dead links are found in Wiki articles, they should either be removed to modified to link to an article that actually exists. For example, the links below are all dead links:
