Do you have some knowledge you want to contribute, but can not find any articles that discuss it? If, so you can create a new page.
First, check to be sure that no page already exists on your subject. If you discover a page that briefly mentions the content you are looking for, you can either add to it or add a link to another article for it that you will soon create.
Creating the page
Type 1
To create an article, follow the steps below:
- Type in your address bar the address http://test.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/ (the root address of the Scratch Wiki) and add the desired article title to the URL. You will be taken to a page saying "There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title in other pages, search the related logs, or edit this page.".
- Click on 'Edit this page'.
- Start editing!
Type 2
- Search the name of the page you want to create.
- Click create the page PAGENAME on this wiki!
- Start editing!
Naming a Page
Because many languages live on this Wiki, it is important to keep them separate and organized. When creating a new page, find the language code for the article's language. A list can be found at the list on Wikipedia. Put the language code before the article name, like this:
Language Code:Article Name
For example:
Fra:Scratch Wiki Accueil
Spa:Scratch Wiki Español
Ita:Aiuto:Formattare
