Before you start

Welcome! Before you get started I must instruct you in the way that this wiki works. First, please read this page to learn how wikis work in general. Next, heed the following instructions.

Your focus for now will be translating pages from English to Ukranian. You should not worry about creating any pages specific to the Ukranian wiki yet; instead, focus on translating.
When creating a page to be translated, you must follow the steps below. Let's say you want to translate the page Eng:Blocks. "Blocks" in Ukranian is "Блок". (That page already exists, but for the sake of this example let's assume it doesn't.)

1. Create the page Ukr:Блок.
   • The contents of the page must be copied from the Eng: page.
   • Make sure that the page has {{:Eng:Blocks/translate}} at the top.
2. Edit the page Eng:Blocks/translate
   • If there is already a line that looks like |Ukr=, change it to |Ukr=Блок
   • If not, add the line |Ukr=Блок just before the line that looks like }}
3. Start translating any English text into Ukranian.
   • When linking to other pages, always link with Ukr: before the page name
   • When using translated templates, always transclude with Ukr/ before the template name
   • When categorizing pages, always categorize with Ukr/ before the category name

While you are doing all this, start looking on Scratch for more people to help you - editing a wiki is not a one-man job.
