Editing. . .
Hi, I can't edit any pages, because when I make edits, it says, (Save (use preview first)), and when I press preview, it leads to a page which is a hashtag only. I can't work on my Arabic wiki anymore because of this. What should I do? Tarekzaki (talk) 15:37, 27 September 2018 (CEST)
- It leads to a hashtag only page first?? Ah well, never mind about force previewing then.
- I do want to mention that I forced previewing because I saw you made many small edits. You could have avoided those edits if you had used "show preview" instead. I'll remove the force preview, but can you please make only one big edit instead of many small edits? Thanks.
- P.S. it worked for me on this page, perhaps it's an Arabic weirdness.

- Ah well, I tried a different solution but to no avail. I've gotten rid of force previewing for good.
- The point of previewing, by the way, is that you can make a change, preview it, then make another change and preview it, then save it. So you can combine what would be many edits into one edit.

Capitalisation
Hi Kenny2scratch, sorry for the confusion, I should have made it clearer. Latin is different to most languages and never has capitals except with names and, like on Wikipedia, the first word of article headings. That's why the page is 'Pagina prima' and not 'Pagina Prima' - hope that makes sense, it's not just me being weird (well, mostly not). NightSpeakers (talk) 13:50, 25 October 2018 (CEST)
- Latin capitalization is identical to English capitalization in most respects. Title case applies to Latin as much as it does to English. If you had finished reading the recent changes before contacting me, though, you would have noticed that I moved it back to the sentence case version (the page is currently at Pagina prima rather than Pagina Prima). I only moved it to title case because that's the English wiki convention - but since this will be a separate wiki, I thought why shouldn't it have a different caps scheme? Especially since sentence case is far better than title case for linking and searching.
- Essentially, I moved it back then forth again because of a conceptual mistake I made - sorry for the confusion.

- To be serious, the only reason it wasn't in the sidebar is because I forgot to add it - there's usually always one thing I miss when adding a new language.

No Background on Pictures

- Editing it on Scratch, right? Right-click the costume and choose "save to local file" or whatever it is.

- The translations that work are not defined by me. I recommend that you use this page to translate scratchblocks (unlike Google Translate, that kind of translation is actually perfectly accurate!). I have fixed that particular instance myself using that page.

About IP ban
I guess somebody want join to the Test-Scratch wiki because in Turkish Forum, a user wanted to join Turkish wiki and I think he/she need help about join to the Test-Scratch wiki. I'm helping to him/her.I think you should remove IP ban because he/she contacted to me and he/she said "Something is wrong.I didn't make this."

- Sure.The account name is EHTERNET-Plus. Here is the account's replies about join to wiki. I'm sorry,I saw something.I guess he/she has
two accounts. His/her account names are EHTERNET and EHTERNET-Plus. I said him/her about he/she don't join in 2 accounts,he/she should read everything and his/her Wiki username's same username as his/her Scratch account. Thanks for reply.

I would like to talk to you about "Your Babel language level in the languages you speak" in the request account.Nobody don't know what is the "Babel language level".I saw a link,but the link is dead;Wikipedia doesn't work some countries.For this reason,some people doesn't complete the request note.I think we must find a way for that.I apologize for keep busy you,but I think this is important.

- Hmm. This is a problem with the actual scratchblocks plugin, which I have no control over. I will contact the maintainers.
- While they work on it, please use English for the blocks (but Arabic for everything else); I will let you know when it's time to translate the blocks into Arabic.

multiple links/pages with similar content found in English Test Wiki
I am trying to translate pages from English to Hindi. - Eng:Motion Blocks is the more detailed/main page about motion blocks; Eng:Table of Contents/Motion Blocks is part of the Table of Contents which is meant to give quick access to the content available on the wiki. Both need to be translated - they are different things.
- By the way, you sign your name with just four tildas (~~~~) rather than that plus your name.

About transform the Turkish Wiki as a Real Wiki
I think Turkish Wiki has a lot of articles, templates and images. To me -although I'm not very sure-, Turkish Wiki provides all of the conditions for be a Real Wiki.So, I suggest to transform Turkish Wiki to tr.scratch-wiki.info subdomain.
Note: Please change Turkish Wiki link as "Ana Sayfa" because I need a redirect for "Ana Sayfa".

changing wiki and about hindi wiki

- A rogue Arabic editor modified the original page instead of translating in the Ara: namespace. I've reverted the page back to normal. You should be able to use the normal process to translate the page now.
- If you want to edit the actual English Scratch Wiki, you need to follow their account request process.

Should we update test articles to Scratch 3.0?

- Using the real wiki content is of course better. Please use real wiki content if the page is outdated. The Eng: test wiki is no more than a placeholder.

Syntax highlighting while editing
