Someone's ignore list.

An Ignore List was a feature on the Scratch Website where Scratchers could ignore other users. It was available only on one's own My Stuff Page. Once someone was ignored, their comments and projects would not be shown to the ignoring user.

How to Ignore a User

To ignore someone, go to your user profile. Then click "Edit My Ignore List". Add their name and the reason, then click "Ignore". To remove someone from your ignore list, click (remove) under the reason.

Reasons to Ignore a User

Some reasons why a Scratcher might choose to ignore someone else are as follows:

  • They have behaved annoyingly/inappropriately
  • They have spammed a project
  • They are simply unwanted by the ignorer
  • They are spamming your Profile

People who can see an Ignore List

Only the Scratch Team could see someone else's ignore list. This was because the list is a personal matter.

Scratch 2.0

Although the ignore list is not a feature in Scratch 2.0, some users think it should be re-implemented[1], because they do not want to see a user's comments or projects.
